What does Spring Break Costa Rica have that no other spring break destination does? Manuel Antonio National Park. Are you going to find monkey’s, crocodiles, sloths, caymans, toucans in South Padre Island? The beaches in Manuel Antonio National Park are some of the most beautiful in the world.
This is the place to take a break from partying, enjoy nature at it’s finest, and get back to your senses. Entrance into Manuel Antonio National Park is included in the Spring Break Costa Rica Package. The park has some really great hikes, with cliff views of Manuel Antonio and it’s beaches, as well as hike to a waterfall.
It’s best to enter Manuel Antonio National Park early in the morning if you plan to go hiking. Wear a swimsuit under your shorts and t-shirt, and bring a mask, if you plan to snorkel the reefs. Don’t forget water and bug lotion. The Park doesn’t sell food or water, so either pick-it up at the beach before you go in, or you can leave the park for lunch and then re-enter with your ticket.
Spring Break Costa Rica is proud to be able to offer it’s students Manuel Antonio National Park, as an experience they’ll always remember.

Participate in Costa Rica’s signature tour! You will travel on suspension cables from platform to platform while enjoying The Humid Tropical Forest. These cables are specially designed by expert engineers who made it one of the most wonderful and exciting adventures in Costa Rica. Our clients are equipped with high tech harnesses to ensure their safety.
All of our professional, bilingual, guides are well educated in the wildlife and plantlife of the forest, and will happy to take you to the Primary and Secondary Forest where you can enjoy different types of animals, birds, insects and plants.

There are 16 platforms, four of which are built on the ground and 12 hanging 90 feet above it from the robust trees in the primary forest, with ages ranging from 100 to 200 years.
The construction of these platforms, which include stainless steel cables and metal platforms, allow them to hold 2000 pounds or 10 people each. The cables between platforms are 1/2 inch thick and strongly fixed to the trees which hold the platforms. We use harnesses only of the best brands which can hold up to 6,600 lbs. as well as the leach from which they hang from the rollers that slide through the cables.
When canopying through the rainforest, I usually see at least monkeys, sloths, and iguanas. It is an awesome and unique way to see the rainforest!

Pool Bar Menu March 3, 2007
Posted by Monkey Face in : Spring Break Food Reviews , add a commentA little debate is raging as to what should be included on the pool bar menu. I say go for Chips and Dips and keep it simple. Matt is more inclined to offer a full dinner menu, with candles, and a Mariachi Singer thrown in.
What do y’all think?
